Description

An award of $10,000 is available for the best spinal research paper submitted to the annual meeting.
Applicants must submit their research in the format of a paper that is ready for publication.
Research can be in any field (clinical or laboratory based) that is related to the spine.
Papers must be received by the closing date in order to be considered.
It is a requirement that one of the authors present the work as the podium presentation at the annual scientific meeting.
The winner of the prize will be announced at the end of the annual scientific meeting.

Closing date

Closing date for the 2012 application is yet to be finalized though is likely to be in January 2012.
